First published on Stays TripZilla, in collaboration with Studio M Singapore.
So we’ve been getting pretty bored of staycations. How many times have you seen the same old hotels with the same old facilities? B-o-ring. It’s time to jazz it up!

Grab a friend and go all out during your next loftcation. Don’t know where to go? Think: 2 levels all to yourself, the softest bed in town and extremely Instagrammable to boot. Don’t say we didn’t share – Studio M Hotel’s lofts are pretty darn cool.

They’re perfect for lazing,

For snuggling with a special friend,

For jumping up and down like the kid you secretly are,

Or for simply lying down with your legs in the air like you just don’t care.

The loft is also wonderfully minimalistic. Any fan of the colour white – find your little slice of heaven right here.

We won't blame you if you can’t tear yourself away from your room to go to the pool. You can still enjoy a perfectly good view - all from the comforts of your room!

If you’ve got a special someone, spice up your stay with a sea of rose petals. Go all out and top it off with some sparkling wine – all on the house, of course!

Did we mention that you get two floors in the space of one?

Instagram addicts beware: you’re going to love the funky lift, which comes inbuilt with a purple filter. Try to ignore the pesky stares of others as you ride up and down countless times but hey, all’s fair in photos and war!

Take the free shuttle to town and come back with your arms full. The only mode of currency we know is plastic, and that you should use it a lot.
You heard it from us first – out with staycations, loftcations are here to stay. This is how you should spend your weekend. Enjoy!
